A Medley of Christmas Stories

One winter night, telling tales by the fire, we became inspired to capture our stories for others to hear. To our delight, we discovered a friendly recording studio just down the road, a gifted graphic designer, and a supportive community of family and friends encouraging our endeavor. As winter came round again, our CD was born. We invite you now to join us by the fire and open these Gifts from the Hearth.

Featured Storytellers

Susan Lenoe:

storyteller and actress, portrays women in history including Harriet Beecher Stowe, Anne Bradstreet and Sarah Grimke as well as hosting a rather riotous story hour at the Andover Bookstore.

Lani Peterson:

psychologist and storyteller, weaves transformational stories that encourage listeners to embark on their own journeys of self-reflection, inspiration, healing and joy.

Magdalen Cantwell:

teacher, musician and storyteller, entertains young and old with stories, songs and lore from her native Ireland.

Nicolette Heavey:

The Storyweaver, has been delighting local listeners with tales textured with the events, gestures and accents borrowed from her international and "storied" past.

Jane Gossard:

storyteller, poet and drummer in the African tradition, shares inspirational stories and leads drumming with children and adults in schools, libraries and churches.
